Winter is here! This week started off with a snow day. The students had a wonderful time at recess playing in the snow.

Spelling and Vocabulary

Owl Research
For the next two weeks, we will be researching different types of owls for the nonfiction part of our owl unit. Students will be working on this in class and at home. We will not have reading homework this week so that students can spend their time researching. Please use the link below to get more information.

Math
We are continuing our multiplication unit. This week we learned how to multiply 2 digit by 2 digit numbers using the Area Model. Next week, we will continue multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers using the Shortcut Method and we will also be working on word problems using multiplication.
