Leadership Week

In order to prepare to lead the Lower School Monday Morning Meeting, we:
  • Brainstormed qualities of a leader
  • Came up with a list of items for the meeting agenda
  • Practiced standing up in front of each other and enunciating our words
  • Prepared the meeting room with lists and props to help us as we lead the meeting

PLEASE try to get your 4th grader to school by 8:15 a.m. on Mondays, so we can be prepared to lead the meeting at 8:30 a.m.

Appreciating Leaders in Our School.

The fourth graders had a lot of fun celebrating Leadership Week!  As part of the Leader in Me, the fourth graders lead the Monday Morning Meeting for the whole lower school. They also spent time writing letters to the staff at Roycemore, thanking them for their leadership in making our school such an awesome place to learn. On Friday, we spent an amazing day on a boat touring Lake Michigan and the Chicago River while learning about architecture.
